About Us
For those who believe the future of luxury is regenerative.
Our Mission
The Bluu Foundation exists to prove that doing good can look and feel extraordinary.
We bring together innovators, creators, and brands who care as deeply about impact as they do about aesthetics.
From ocean health to climate resilience, we fund big ideas, produce cinematic stories, and build communities that make change irresistible.
Because true luxury doesn’t take, it gives back.

President
Emma Kraft, Founder of Bluu Co and President of Bluu Foundation, is part of a new wave of founders, those who believe business can look different. Her story sets the tone for the entire Bluu movement: bold, personal, and rooted in a refusal to compromise.
Raised with a love for the ocean and shaped by the loss of her grandmother to breast cancer, Emma began questioning what we put on our skin, and the sea. When she couldn’t find a sunscreen that was both truly safe for people and supportive of marine ecosystems, she decided to create one.
Her journey became a five-year mission to challenge the status quo in both beauty and environmental care, made possible by the support of those who inspired her, believed in her, and stood by her. Bluu is the result: a product that proves we can care for our bodies and the planet with equal intention.
Emma received her B.S. in Business Administration from the Berkeley Haas School of Business at the University of California.

Secretary
Siena Simon is a marine scientist from Las Vegas who recently graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Marine Science. She is currently preparing to take the LSAT with plans to pursue a career in environmental law. Siena discovered her passion for ocean conservation during a trip to Fiji’s Yasawa Islands, where she helped build and monitor coral nurseries and planted over 1,000 mangrove seedlings following a major bleaching event.
At the UC Berkeley Herbarium, she served as Curator of Algae, where she updated Dr. Kathy Ann Miller’s review of non-native seaweeds along California’s coast by analyzing species dispersal and transport vectors, including plastic debris from the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. While studying abroad in New Zealand, she became fascinated by marine invertebrates—particularly sponges, whose remarkable regenerative abilities allow them to resist cancer. This experience sparked her interest in the potential of marine organisms to address modern medical challenges. To explore this further, she completed a minor in Science, Technology, and Society with a focus on medicine, the body, and society.
As Secretary of the Board, Siena brings scientific insight, a global perspective, and a deep commitment to ocean conservation. She believes that protecting marine ecosystems is critical not only to the health of our planet but also to the development of innovative solutions for the future.
